Maybe it's a fluke, but today I ran into 4 different groups of players who set up fortresses and camp for the entire match.
Riot Shields
LMG
Trophy Systems
Tac Insert
Flak Jacket
There's no way to beat this organized set up. A well placed TS can stay out of the range of an EMP and even if you do manage to take out one through a wall Flak Jacket will remove any chance of you getting around the Riot Shield to kill the guy spamming his LMG through walls. On maps like Plaza and Hijacked you don't have much going for you.
The problem starts with the Riot Shield and can be easily fixed by making them breakable. It should obviously take a good bit of damage to break one but nontheless it should still eventually fail. Espcially if you're able to headglitch behind one.
The Trophy System is another key to this problem. Sure you only get two shots with one but if the enemy has two equiped and is using Scavenger or has a TI laying nearby with teammates doing the same the TS can be endless in supply. Rumor has it that the TS will not destroy a pojectile if it's rolling, this is not true. I extensively tested this today and I can assure you that I've have thrown many projectiles of all sorts and the TS will destory them regardless if they're rolling, flying, or barely peeking around a corner. To fix this there should be limits to what the TS can take out. An RPG is very fast moving, therefore it would make sense that a portable TS is not capable of locking on and destroying an RPG.
Some of you may think that this is a rare occurance, at first yes. It's always a concern but before you could live with it and not expect to come across this issue for several weeks, if not months. But as this game loses it's popularity and problems a lag and poorability plague the franchise, more and more people are turning to unorthodox forms of play. This includes supercamping trolls. All it takes is one vengeul person in TDM to ruin any chance at beating them with patience. I think it's time this gets looked into.
