Heavy Duty...

So, I was delighted when I heard that this game mode was coming out. I thought, "Call of Duty with more health? Awesome!" I enjoy games where gun skill determines who wins gun fights, and games with more health have more movement and gun skill as there is more opportunity to out-strafe an opponent and consistent aim is crucial. This is what makes me such a fan of games such as Halo. Now, I know Call of Duty isn't and won't ever be Halo or really anything like it, and that is fine. However, a playlist with extra health sounds like jolly, good fun. Now, imagine my disappointment when i started playing Heavy Duty.

 

Health in Heavy Duty is barely anymore than that of normal. Kill times don't seem much different at all. It feel, well, pointless. It's somewhat noticeable at a range, but not noticeable enough. Up close, it feels nearly the same as regular. It takes a bullet or two more to kill. This is not a big enough increase to make this playlist worthwhile. It should take twice as much to kill someone as it does now. That would be ideal (at least for me.)
