The big problem with your thread is that you openly admit that you don't even know how to quickscope. If you've never actually tried to do it in game you are in absolutely no position to comment objectively on this subject.
I hope you do go out and start trying to quickscope, because when you do, you're going to discover, as I did, that regular guns are soooooo much easier to use and that a lot of myths about quickscoping are unfounded
I was naive, like you, about quickscoping until I started back in MW3. It is not at all as easy as it sometimes looks. It takes a lot of practice to develop a decent, reliable shot and it takes intelligent tactics to score well. Those turn on shots are extremely difficult to hit. You are never at an advantage when quickscoping. The key is map positioning, using cover, understanding spawn logic, being aware of high traffic areas, using cover effectively and anticipating where your enemies are going to come from. You can't just run around like a headless chicken and simply react to enemies who appear on your screen. You will just die a lot like that.
