You pretty much nailed it screen shot then crop and you've tried it from the editor and that is the one place I would've imagined that gave you the largest and clearest view of it... another cool place would have been from a node that your clan is comtrolling.. Our emblem actually looks pretty cool on the node, which was a good side effect of it.
