Thanks dyou think opening my NAT or router messing might yield any benefit(s)? Also, what's your numbers (or decent ones) that I could compare my own to?
NAT type in this game, for me at least, depends on the number of players in our Region at a given time. I go with a Moderate NAT if the player count is above 500 in TDM with most of them in the U.S.A. Which means most of the time I run an Open NAt type because I play very late at night/early morning and there just isn't that many people on. I haven't played during peak hours in a long time so I can't say for sure if these NAT type settings based on player count still give me a better experience.
Just a heads up in case you didn't know. For me, having a good connection, if I get in a lobby with a full party it's either going to go good or go terrible. There is no in between. It will either run like normal, or I'll be a full half second (or more) behind everyone. This is because the party simply doesn't have a good ping to each other and can cause some weird stuff. If it doesn't go my way, I will likely die before I can even hear anyone. This is because the footsteps lag with the avatar. Just like someone will "insta-kill" you because you are already dead by the time you see them, the same goes for the sounds they make. They can also kill me (if behind me for example) before I even hear them. That makes the game unplayable. Again this is rare for me overall, but tends to happen more if I play against a full a party.
