Season passes are decided by activision not the seperate dev teams, same goes for elite subscriptions ect.
I would say its almost a given we will get another season pass for this game if there are dlc map packs , as long as people know what they are buying by actually reading what the season pass gives them ie not mdlc stuff then they do provide good value to fans who do buy all the packs.
