Re: Black Ops II flaws seem to be contagious.

I am really, really excited about COD Ghosts and I like a lot of the new features they introducing to it. Stuff like:

 

-A lot more weapons to choose from and much more unique weapons like the revolver shotgun, the war machine-looking grenade launcher, and the splitting grenade launcher looking weapon.

 

-The create-a-class set-up with the perk points. Obviously the higher to perk point, the better it is, but it comes at a cost using a lot of points.  So, it'll really force players to have to determine which is more important to them when creating a class.

 

-Create-a-squad and prestiging each squad member. This ties in well with the perk points system as you can create 10 squad members to the perk set-up of your choice.  You can use this to test different perk set-ups, create classes to either counter your teammates, or create classes to be specific for map types and game modes.  I also like that you have prestige each player to reach MP, so you dont lose your unlocks on each player you prestige, but at the same time, you cant always use those players if you're looking to level up.  However, they're still an option for you to use if you need to; for example if you're playing against a good team and your lower level soldier doesn't have the perks/weapons to really compete against them.

 

-I like the new movement features in this game, especially the mantling. It looks liket they can either be used as quick evasive maneuvers or to catch your opponent by surprise. 

 

-I like the destructable environments that the game offers.  Im sure it can really change the dynamics of certain game modes when you're destroying parts of the maps and certain go-to places.  It opens up new lines of sites, creates new/destroys old places where you might find cover.  It also improves your map awareness because you dont exactly have to see your enemy to get a kill and vice versa.

 

-Cranked sounds like a really fun game mode if you're a player who likes a lot of action.  Its really fast paced and in your face, but definitely not for everyone.  I can see myself playing that game just to change it up from my normal set-up.  It also seems fun because you're not only competing against enemies and a timer, but also your teammates as you're all scouraging to get kills to stay alive.  I'm not exactly sure about search and rescure, though.  It seems like a decent concept but I can see a lot of tag camping as well, but I'll have to see how it goes.

 

-There are new scorestreaks that I'd like to see and while they higher ones might be very powerful, I'm sure there will be certain perks and equipments you can use to counter them.  Again, this ties with the create-a-soldier/squad set-up because it'll be a good idea to set-up counter classes for certain situations.  Its like in BO2 when players complain about the swarm being OP and all they have to do is slap on blind-eye and they're good.  You have options to counter, so use them.

 

 

So, yeah, I'm really excited about this game because of all the new features they're introducing.  Will it be perfect?  Of course not, but I really cant bash on anything yet because I have yet to play it.  What I'm definitely most excited about is the create-a-class/perk-points system because it offers so many different options and combinations for you as a player. Im also excited to try out the new weapons.
