Are you kidding lol? Claw is impossibly hard to play on ps3, due to the exact reason you mentioned. Its size. Having to cramp my index finger up so much that i cant press x/o etc. Having my aiming thumb so close to my index finger i cant aim properely.
I actually play regular tactical and still jump shot. It means i jumpshot less than a person playing claw, but in ALOT of situations its still the best way to go.
SIDENOTE: Do i really see one of the replies above me comparing frequent jumpshotting to PED's? Im loling so hard but its probably obvious troll.
